Prior to 7.0.1 and 6.5.4, the webhook model was missing a proper validation for loop back addresses, or link-local addresses — only the URL scheme (HTTP/HTTPS) as well as the hostname was checked. This could end up in retrieving confidential metadata of cloud/hosting providers. The existing check is now extended and is applied when configuring webhooks as well as triggering webhook jobs. This vulnerability is fixed in 7.0.1 and 6.5.4.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:H/UI:N/VC:L/VI:N/VA:H/SC:L/SI:N/SA:H","score":8.3},"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:N/A:N","score":4.3},"cwes":["CWE-918"],"references":["https://github.com/zammad/zammad/security/advisories/GHSA-2vgc-vfh2-rw75"],"products":["zammad:zammad"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:28:59.047572785+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-34719","score":0.00244,"percentile":0.15652,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
