Prior to version 6.2.5, the image‑generation component by the URI: /_og/d/ (and, in older versions, /og-image/) contains a Denial of Service (DoS) vulnerability. The issue arises because there is no restriction on the width and height parameters of the generated image. The vulnerability was reproduced using the standard configuration and the default templates. This issue has been patched in version 6.2.5.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:L/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N","score":6.9},"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H","score":7.5},"cwes":["CWE-400"],"references":["https://github.com/nuxt-modules/og-image/security/advisories/GHSA-c7xp-q6q8-hg76","https://github.com/nuxt-modules/og-image/security/advisories/GHSA-c7xp-q6q8-hg76"],"products":["nuxt:og_image"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:28:18.033120106+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-34404","score":0.00337,"percentile":0.27085,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-c7xp-q6q8-hg76","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-c7xp-q6q8-hg76","summary":"Nuxt OG Image is vulnerable to Denial of Service via unbounded image dimensions","modified":"2026-04-06T16:48:01.611257Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"nuxt-og-image","purl":"pkg:npm/nuxt-og-image","ranges":["<6.2.5"],"fixed":["6.2.5"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
