{"cve":"CVE-2026-33752","nvd":{"published":"2026-04-06T16:16:34.140","modified":"2026-10-26T21:10:00.170","status":"Analyzed","description":"curl_cffi is the a Python binding for curl. Prior to 0.15.0, curl_cffi does not restrict requests to internal IP ranges, and follows redirects automatically via the underlying libcurl. Because of this, an attacker-controlled URL can redirect requests to internal services such as cloud metadata endpoints. In addition, curl_cffi’s TLS impersonation feature can make these requests appear as legitimate browser traffic, which may bypass certain network controls. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.15.0.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:N/A:N","score":8.6},"cwes":["CWE-918"],"references":["https://github.com/lexiforest/curl_cffi/security/advisories/GHSA-qw2m-4pqf-rmpp","https://github.com/lexiforest/curl_cffi/security/advisories/GHSA-qw2m-4pqf-rmpp"],"products":["lexiforest:curl_cffi"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-26T21:38:48.864438205+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-33752","score":0.00463,"percentile":0.39869,"date":"2026-10-26"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-qw2m-4pqf-rmpp","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-qw2m-4pqf-rmpp","summary":"curl_cffi: Redirect-based SSRF leads to internal network access in curl_cffi (with TLS impersonation bypass)","modified":"2026-07-13T16:42:36.740782191Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"PyPI","name":"curl-cffi","purl":"pkg:pypi/curl-cffi","ranges":["<0.15.0"],"fixed":["0.15.0"]}]},{"id":"PYSEC-2026-2431","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/PYSEC-2026-2431","summary":"curl_cffi: Redirect-based SSRF leads to internal network access in curl_cffi (with TLS impersonation bypass)","modified":"2026-07-13T16:32:36.499899524Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"PyPI","name":"curl-cffi","purl":"pkg:pypi/curl-cffi","ranges":["<0.15.0"],"fixed":["0.15.0"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
