This is due to missing nonce validation in the `xms_setting()` function on the settings update handler. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to modify plugin settings via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link. Settings that can be modified include favicon URL, Google Analytics account ID, and various WordPress behavior toggles. The `favicon_url` and `ga_acc_id` values are output on the front-end without escaping, enabling a CSRF to Stored XSS chain.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:N/I:L/A:N","score":4.3},"cwes":["CWE-352"],"references":["https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/xhanch-my-advanced-settings/tags/1.1.2/admin/setting.php#L10","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/xhanch-my-advanced-settings/trunk/admin/setting.php#L10","https://www.wordfence.com/threat-intel/vulnerabilities/id/66dd73c5-1cf1-484e-b847-afe357fb2598?source=cve"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:26:19.218427112+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-3332","score":0.00145,"percentile":0.03777,"date":"2026-11-01"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
