{"cve":"CVE-2026-33288","nvd":{"published":"2026-03-20T00:16:18.470","modified":"2026-06-17T10:37:15.417","status":"Analyzed","description":"SuiteCRM is an open-source, enterprise-ready Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software application. Prior to versions 7.15.1 and 8.9.3, a SQL Injection vulnerability exists in the SuiteCRM authentication mechanisms when directory support is enabled. The application fails to properly sanitize the user-supplied username before using it in a local database query. An attacker with valid, low-privilege directory credentials can exploit this to execute arbitrary SQL commands, leading to complete privilege escalation (e.g., logging in as the CRM Administrator). Versions 7.15.1 and 8.9.3 patch the issue.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":8.8},"cwes":["CWE-89"],"references":["https://docs.suitecrm.com/admin/releases/7.15.x","https://github.com/SuiteCRM/SuiteCRM/security/advisories/GHSA-7g39-m4fg-vrq7"],"products":["suitecrm:suitecrm"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:26:19.218427112+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-33288","score":0.00448,"percentile":0.38976,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
