{"cve":"CVE-2026-33203","nvd":{"published":"2026-03-20T23:16:45.520","modified":"2026-06-17T10:37:06.990","status":"Analyzed","description":"SiYuan is a personal knowledge management system. Prior to version 3.6.2, the SiYuan kernel WebSocket server accepts unauthenticated connections when a specific \"auth keepalive\" query parameter is present. After connection, incoming messages are parsed using unchecked type assertions on attacker-controlled JSON. A remote attacker can send malformed messages that trigger a runtime panic, potentially crashing the kernel process and causing denial of service. Version 3.6.2 fixes the issue.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H","score":7.5},"cwes":["CWE-248","CWE-306"],"references":["https://github.com/siyuan-note/siyuan/security/advisories/GHSA-3g9h-9hp4-654v"],"products":["b3log:siyuan"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:26:19.218427112+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-33203","score":0.00517,"percentile":0.43998,"date":"2026-11-01"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-3g9h-9hp4-654v","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-3g9h-9hp4-654v","summary":"SiYuan has an Unauthenticated WebSocket DoS via Auth Keepalive Bypass","modified":"2026-03-25T19:46:57.858750Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"Go","name":"github.com/siyuan-note/siyuan/kernel","purl":"pkg:golang/github.com/siyuan-note/siyuan/kernel","ranges":["<3.6.2"],"fixed":["3.6.2"]}]},{"id":"GO-2026-4752","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GO-2026-4752","summary":"SiYuan has an Unauthenticated WebSocket DoS via Auth Keepalive Bypass in github.com/siyuan-note/siyuan/kernel","modified":"2026-03-23T18:45:20.660847Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"Go","name":"github.com/siyuan-note/siyuan/kernel","purl":"pkg:golang/github.com/siyuan-note/siyuan/kernel","ranges":["all versions"],"fixed":[]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
