{"cve":"CVE-2026-32857","nvd":{"published":"2026-03-26T18:16:28.953","modified":"2026-07-14T19:16:58.107","status":"Deferred","description":"Firecrawl version 2.8.0 and prior contain a server-side request forgery (SSRF) protection bypass vulnerability in the Playwright scraping service where network policy validation is applied only to the initial user-supplied URL and not to subsequent redirect destinations. Attackers can supply an externally valid URL that passes validation and returns an HTTP redirect to an internal or restricted resource, allowing the browser to follow the redirect and fetch the final destination without revalidation, thereby gaining access to internal network services and sensitive endpoints. This issue is distinct from CVE-2024-56800, which describes redirect-based SSRF generally. This vulnerability specifically arises from a post-redirect enforcement gap in implemented SSRF protections, where validation is applied only to the initial request and not to the final redirected destination.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:L/VI:N/VA:N/SC:H/SI:L/SA:L","score":7.8},"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:N/A:N","score":8.6},"cwes":["CWE-918"],"references":["https://github.com/firecrawl/firecrawl/security/advisories/GHSA-vjp8-2wgg-p734","https://www.firecrawl.dev/","https://www.vulncheck.com/advisories/firecrawl-playwright-service-ssrf-protection-bypass-via-missing-post-redirect-validation"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:28:18.033120106+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-32857","score":0.00422,"percentile":0.36588,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
