{"cve":"CVE-2026-32824","nvd":{"published":"2026-07-20T17:17:06.003","modified":"2026-10-24T20:10:00.137","status":"Deferred","description":"dataCycle is a data management system for centrally storing, managing, searching, finding, and distributing data. In dataCycle-CORE, the module handling core processing and framework rules, before and including version 25.07.3, a low-privileged authenticated API user can supply `forwardToUrl` and `redirectUrl` values when triggering password reset or confirmation flows. Those values are then embedded into the outgoing email workflow without host allowlisting. This creates two related abuse paths:\n- password reset or confirmation links can be sent to a victim with the token already attached to an attacker-controlled `forwardToUrl`\n- after a legitimate password reset completes, the browser is redirected to attacker-controlled `redirectUrl`\n\nIn practice, this can be used for phishing, token capture, confirmation hijacking, or steering a victim from a trusted email\ninto an attacker domain. This is patched in version 26.06.08.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:R/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:N","score":7.3},"cwes":["CWE-601"],"references":["https://github.com/datacycle-engine/dataCycle-CORE/security/advisories/GHSA-8jfx-wpjg-hf38"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-25T17:50:08.599881581+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-32824","score":0.00342,"percentile":0.27496,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
