{"cve":"CVE-2026-32823","nvd":{"published":"2026-07-20T17:17:05.877","modified":"2026-10-24T20:10:00.137","status":"Deferred","description":"dataCycle is a data management system for centrally storing, managing, searching, finding, and distributing data. In dataCycle-CORE, the module handling core processing and framework rules, before and including version 25.07.3, the application exposes server-side state changes through `GET` routes. Because browsers automatically send cookies on same-site top-level navigation and Rails does not apply CSRF protections to `GET`, an attacker can force a logged-in victim to modify application state by embedding a link, image, iframe, or redirect to one of these endpoints. This was confirmed on the target with a normal `Standard` account: a cross-site-style `GET` to `watch_lists/:id/add_item?thing_id=...` inserted content into a watch list with no CSRF token. Additional `GET` mutation routes exist in the codebase, including user impersonation for authorized admins and cache or\ntranslation state changes. This is patched in version 26.06.08.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:N/I:L/A:N","score":4.3},"cwes":["CWE-352"],"references":["https://github.com/datacycle-engine/dataCycle-CORE/security/advisories/GHSA-55wx-jh6w-jc57"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-25T17:50:08.599881581+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-32823","score":0.00142,"percentile":0.03465,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
