{"cve":"CVE-2026-32722","nvd":{"published":"2026-03-18T22:16:24.670","modified":"2026-06-17T10:36:16.270","status":"Analyzed","description":"Memray is a memory profiler for Python. Prior to Memray 1.19.2, Memray rendered the command line of the tracked process directly into generated HTML reports without escaping. Because there was no escaping, attacker-controlled command line arguments were inserted as raw HTML into the generated report. This allowed JavaScript execution when a victim opened the generated report in a browser. Version 1.19.2 fixes the issue.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N","score":6.1},"cwes":["CWE-79"],"references":["https://github.com/bloomberg/memray/commit/ba6e4e2e9930f9641bed7adfdf43c8e2545ce249","https://github.com/bloomberg/memray/releases/tag/v1.19.2","https://github.com/bloomberg/memray/security/advisories/GHSA-r5pr-887v-m2w9"],"products":["bloomberg:memray"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:26:19.218427112+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-32722","score":0.00314,"percentile":0.24368,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-r5pr-887v-m2w9","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-r5pr-887v-m2w9","summary":"Stored XSS in Memray-generated HTML reports via unescaped command-line metadata","modified":"2026-07-13T07:26:24.495153354Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"PyPI","name":"memray","purl":"pkg:pypi/memray","ranges":["<1.19.2"],"fixed":["1.19.2"]}]},{"id":"PYSEC-2026-2203","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/PYSEC-2026-2203","summary":"","modified":"2026-07-13T07:15:28.802687715Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"PyPI","name":"memray","purl":"pkg:pypi/memray","ranges":["<1.19.2"],"fixed":["1.19.2"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
