Versions through 0.10.5 contain a heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability in its logon processing. In environments where domain_user_separator is configured in xrdp.ini, an unauthenticated remote attacker can send a crafted, excessively long username and domain name to overflow the internal buffer. This can corrupt adjacent memory regions, potentially leading to a Denial of Service (DoS) or unexpected behavior. The domain_name_separator directive is commented out by default, systems are not affected by this vulnerability unless it is intentionally configured. This issue has been fixed in version 0.10.6.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:N/UI:N/VC:N/VI:L/VA:L/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N","score":6.3},"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:L/A:L","score":6.5},"cwes":["CWE-122"],"references":["https://github.com/neutrinolabs/xrdp/releases/tag/v0.10.6","https://github.com/neutrinolabs/xrdp/security/advisories/GHSA-7q2g-6fjr-h6pp"],"products":["neutrinolabs:xrdp"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-26T22:26:44.656832877+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-32624","score":0.00408,"percentile":0.34816,"date":"2026-10-26"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
