Prior to 2026.3.11, browser-originated WebSocket connections could bypass origin validation when gateway.auth.mode was set to trusted-proxy and the request arrived with proxy headers. A page served from an untrusted origin could connect through a trusted reverse proxy, inherit proxy-authenticated identity, and establish a privileged operator session. This vulnerability is fixed in 2026.3.11.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:N","score":8.1},"cwes":["CWE-346"],"references":["https://github.com/openclaw/openclaw/commit/ebed3bbde1a72a1aaa9b87b63b91e7c04a50036b","https://github.com/openclaw/openclaw/releases/tag/v2026.3.11","https://github.com/openclaw/openclaw/security/advisories/GHSA-5wcw-8jjv-m286"],"products":["openclaw:openclaw"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:25:53.701907451+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-32302","score":0.00159,"percentile":0.05018,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-5wcw-8jjv-m286","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-5wcw-8jjv-m286","summary":"OpenClaw: Untrusted web origins can obtain authenticated operator.admin access in trusted-proxy mode","modified":"2026-03-16T17:16:26.294637Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"openclaw","purl":"pkg:npm/openclaw","ranges":["<2026.3.11"],"fixed":["2026.3.11"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
