Prior to 5.0.3, the OIDC authorization endpoint allows users with a TOTP-pending session (password verified, TOTP not yet completed) to obtain authorization codes. An attacker who knows a user's password but not their TOTP secret can obtain valid OIDC tokens, completely bypassing the second factor. This vulnerability is fixed in 5.0.3.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:H/A:N","score":7.1},"cwes":["CWE-287"],"references":["https://github.com/steveiliop56/tinyauth/security/advisories/GHSA-3q28-qjrv-qr39"],"products":["tinyauth:tinyauth"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:25:53.701907451+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-32246","score":0.00281,"percentile":0.20651,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-3q28-qjrv-qr39","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-3q28-qjrv-qr39","summary":"Tinyauth vulnerable to TOTP/2FA bypass via OIDC authorize endpoint","modified":"2026-03-23T04:56:09.120030082Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"Go","name":"github.com/steveiliop56/tinyauth","purl":"pkg:golang/github.com/steveiliop56/tinyauth","ranges":["<1.0.1-20260311144920-9eb2d33064b7"],"fixed":["1.0.1-20260311144920-9eb2d33064b7"]}]},{"id":"GO-2026-4688","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GO-2026-4688","summary":"Tinyauth vulnerable to TOTP/2FA bypass via OIDC authorize endpoint in github.com/steveiliop56/tinyauth","modified":"2026-03-23T04:52:55.449287Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"Go","name":"github.com/steveiliop56/tinyauth","purl":"pkg:golang/github.com/steveiliop56/tinyauth","ranges":["all versions"],"fixed":[]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
