Prior to 6.1.0, a blind SSRF vulnerability exists in 2FAuth that allows authenticated users to make arbitrary HTTP requests from the server to internal networks and cloud metadata endpoints. The image parameter in OTP URL is not properly validated for internal / private IP addresses before making HTTP requests. While the previous fix added response validation to ensure only valid images are stored but HTTP request is still made to arbitrary URLs before this validation occurs. This vulnerability is fixed in 6.1.0.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:N/SC:H/SI:H/SA:N","score":7.8},"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:N","score":9.1},"cwes":["CWE-918"],"references":["https://github.com/Bubka/2FAuth/security/advisories/GHSA-8qp3-x2mp-j6f8"],"products":["2fauth:2fauth"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:25:53.701907451+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-32133","score":0.00536,"percentile":0.4523,"date":"2026-11-01"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
