{"cve":"CVE-2026-31800","nvd":{"published":"2026-03-10T21:16:49.683","modified":"2026-06-17T10:34:29.260","status":"Analyzed","description":"Parse Server is an open source backend that can be deployed to any infrastructure that can run Node.js. Prior to 9.5.2-alpha.12 and 8.6.25, the _GraphQLConfig and _Audience internal classes can be read, modified, and deleted via the generic /classes/_GraphQLConfig and /classes/_Audience REST API routes without master key authentication. This bypasses the master key enforcement that exists on the dedicated /graphql-config and /push_audiences endpoints. An attacker can read, modify and delete GraphQL configuration and push audience data. This vulnerability is fixed in 9.5.2-alpha.12 and 8.6.25.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:L/VI:H/VA:L/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N","score":8.8},"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:N","score":9.1},"cwes":["CWE-862"],"references":["https://github.com/parse-community/parse-server/releases/tag/8.6.25","https://github.com/parse-community/parse-server/releases/tag/9.5.2-alpha.12","https://github.com/parse-community/parse-server/security/advisories/GHSA-7xg7-rqf6-pw6c"],"products":["parseplatform:parse-server"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:25:53.701907451+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-31800","score":0.00348,"percentile":0.28444,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-7xg7-rqf6-pw6c","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-7xg7-rqf6-pw6c","summary":"Parse Server: Classes `_GraphQLConfig` and `_Audience` master key bypass via generic class routes","modified":"2026-03-14T03:41:17.892207Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"parse-server","purl":"pkg:npm/parse-server","ranges":[">=9.0.0-alpha.1 <9.5.2-alpha.12"],"fixed":["9.5.2-alpha.12"]},{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"parse-server","purl":"pkg:npm/parse-server","ranges":["<8.6.25"],"fixed":["8.6.25"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
