That lookup depends on the attachment list, but the\nattachment may already have been removed before put_device() invokes the\nrelease callback. This can happen in linedisp_unregister(), and can also\nbe reached from some linedisp_register() error paths.\n\nIn that case, to_linedisp() returns NULL and linedisp_release()\ndereferences it while freeing the display resources.\n\nThe struct device released here is the embedded linedisp->dev used by\nlinedisp_register(), so retrieve the enclosing object directly with\ncontainer_of() instead.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H","score":5.5},"cwes":["CWE-476"],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/625fdac41cfc4ca9e1774a0d31d7985aec2c1d66","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/7f138de156b20d9f9da6f72f90b63c01941d97d3"],"products":["linux:linux_kernel"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:33:09.003606135+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-31753","score":0.00107,"percentile":0.01151,"date":"2026-11-01"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
