{"cve":"CVE-2026-31249","nvd":{"published":"2026-05-11T17:16:19.820","modified":"2026-06-17T10:33:32.090","status":"Deferred","description":"CosyVoice thru commit 6e01309e01bc93bbeb83bdd996b1182a81aaf11e (2025-30-21) contains an insecure deserialization vulnerability (CWE-502) in its make_parquet_list.py data processing tool. The script loads PyTorch .pt files (utterance embeddings, speaker embeddings, speech tokens) using torch.load() without enabling the weights_only=True security parameter. This allows the deserialization of arbitrary Python objects via the pickle module. An attacker can exploit this by providing malicious .pt files within a data directory. When a victim processes this directory using the tool, arbitrary code is executed on the victim's system.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:L/A:L","score":7.3},"cwes":["CWE-502"],"references":["https://github.com/FunAudioLLM/CosyVoice","https://www.notion.so/CVE-2026-31249-35d1e13931888112af48f0bddf18f0b9"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:33:55.586217763+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-31249","score":0.0021,"percentile":0.11286,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
