Prior to 5.2.4, when allowed_origins is configured, CheckAllowedOrigins reduces URL-like values to their host component and accepts on host match alone. This makes exact origin policies impossible to express: scheme and port differences are silently ignored. This vulnerability is fixed in 5.2.4.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:L/I:L/A:N","score":5.4},"cwes":["CWE-346"],"references":["https://github.com/web-auth/webauthn-framework/commit/535cc3c2dcbd9c3dfd5e00a254ad4a984e5e7839","https://github.com/web-auth/webauthn-framework/commit/b4cd9a4394c35fcac6080fd2f84f4f58a30abc01","https://github.com/web-auth/webauthn-framework/security/advisories/GHSA-f7pm-6hr8-7ggm","https://github.com/web-auth/webauthn-framework/security/advisories/GHSA-f7pm-6hr8-7ggm"],"products":["spomky-labs:webauthn-lib","spomky-labs:webauthn-symfony-bundle","spomky-labs:webauthn_framwork"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:25:53.701907451+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-30964","score":0.00209,"percentile":0.11107,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
