{"cve":"CVE-2026-30952","nvd":{"published":"2026-03-10T21:16:48.187","modified":"2026-06-17T10:33:12.823","status":"Analyzed","description":"liquidjs is a Shopify / GitHub Pages compatible template engine in pure JavaScript. Prior to 10.25.0, the layout, render, and include tags allow arbitrary file access via absolute paths (either as string literals or through Liquid variables, the latter require dynamicPartials: true, which is the default). This poses a security risk when malicious users are allowed to control the template content or specify the filepath to be included as a Liquid variable. This vulnerability is fixed in 10.25.0.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:H/VI:N/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N","score":8.7},"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N","score":7.5},"cwes":["CWE-22"],"references":["https://github.com/harttle/liquidjs/commit/3cd024d652dc883c46307581e979fe32302adbac","https://github.com/harttle/liquidjs/pull/851","https://github.com/harttle/liquidjs/pull/855","https://github.com/harttle/liquidjs/security/advisories/GHSA-wmfp-5q7x-987x"],"products":["liquidjs:liquidjs"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:25:53.701907451+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-30952","score":0.0058,"percentile":0.47713,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-wmfp-5q7x-987x","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-wmfp-5q7x-987x","summary":"liquidjs has a path traversal fallback vulnerability","modified":"2026-09-10T03:50:41.571935931Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"liquidjs","purl":"pkg:npm/liquidjs","ranges":["<10.25.0"],"fixed":["10.25.0"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
