{"cve":"CVE-2026-30495","nvd":{"published":"2026-05-07T14:16:01.983","modified":"2026-06-17T10:32:42.687","status":"Awaiting Analysis","description":"The Optoma CinemaX P2 projector (firmware TVOS-04.24.010.04.01, Android 8.0.0) exposes Android Debug Bridge (ADB) on TCP port 5555 over the network without requiring authentication. The device is configured with ro.adb.secure=0, which disables RSA key verification. Additionally, a functional su binary exists at /system/xbin/su that grants root privileges without authentication. An attacker on the same network can connect to the device via ADB, obtain a shell, and escalate to root privileges, gaining complete control of the device. This allows extraction of stored WiFi credentials, installation of persistent malware, and access to all device data.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:A/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":8.8},"cwes":["CWE-285"],"references":["https://whitelabel.org/security/2026-02-01-smart-projector/"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:33:55.586217763+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-30495","score":0.00216,"percentile":0.12067,"date":"2026-11-01"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
