When a disabled Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) client is configured as an Identity Provider (IdP)-initiated broker landing target, it can still complete the login process and establish a Single Sign-On (SSO) session. This allows a remote attacker to gain unauthorized access to other enabled clients without re-authentication, effectively bypassing security restrictions.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":8.8},"cwes":["CWE-305"],"references":["https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2026:3925","https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2026:3926","https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2026:3947","https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2026:3948","https://access.redhat.com/security/cve/CVE-2026-3047"],"products":["redhat:build_of_keycloak","redhat:keycloak"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:25:53.701907451+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-3047","score":0.00545,"percentile":0.45737,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-8cr3-vpxx-92cx","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-8cr3-vpxx-92cx","summary":"Keycloak SAML Broken has Authentication Bypass by Primary Weakness","modified":"2026-08-26T01:11:25.350402102Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"Maven","name":"org.keycloak:keycloak-broker-saml","purl":"pkg:maven/org.keycloak/keycloak-broker-saml","ranges":["<=1.8.1.Final"],"fixed":[]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
