In devalue v5.6.3 and earlier, devalue.parse and devalue.unflatten were susceptible to prototype pollution via maliciously crafted payloads. Successful exploitation could lead to Denial of Service (DoS) or type confusion. This vulnerability is fixed in 5.6.4.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:H/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:L/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N","score":6.3},"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H","score":7.5},"cwes":["CWE-1321"],"references":["https://github.com/sveltejs/devalue/security/advisories/GHSA-cfw5-2vxh-hr84"],"products":["svelte:devalue"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:25:53.701907451+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-30226","score":0.00416,"percentile":0.3596,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-cfw5-2vxh-hr84","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-cfw5-2vxh-hr84","summary":"devalue has prototype pollution in devalue.parse and devalue.unflatten","modified":"2026-03-14T02:41:21.965648Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"devalue","purl":"pkg:npm/devalue","ranges":["<5.6.4"],"fixed":["5.6.4"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
