{"cve":"CVE-2026-2950","nvd":{"published":"2026-03-31T20:16:26.207","modified":"2026-10-15T07:18:00.143","status":"Modified","description":"The _.unset and _.omit functions in Lodash are vulnerable to prototype pollution. The fix for CVE-2025-13465 only guards against string key members, so an attacker can bypass the check by passing array-wrapped path segments. This allows deletion of properties from built-in prototypes such as Object.prototype, Number.prototype, and String.prototype. The issue permits deletion of prototype properties but does not allow overwriting their original behavior. The issue is patched from 4.18.0 to 4.18.1 depending on the package: lodash, lodash-es, and lodash-amd in 4.18.1, and the standalone lodash.unset and lodash.omit packages in 4.18.0.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:L/A:N","score":5.3},"cwes":["CWE-1321"],"references":["https://cna.openjsf.org/security-advisories.html","https://github.com/lodash/lodash/security/advisories/GHSA-f23m-r3pf-42rh"],"products":["lodash:lodash","lodash:lodash-amd","lodash:lodash-es","lodash:lodash.unset"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:28:18.033120106+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-2950","score":0.00325,"percentile":0.25355,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-f23m-r3pf-42rh","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-f23m-r3pf-42rh","summary":"lodash vulnerable to Prototype Pollution via array path bypass in `_.unset` and `_.omit`","modified":"2026-10-17T02:56:13.084362346Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"lodash","purl":"pkg:npm/lodash","ranges":["<4.18.0"],"fixed":["4.18.0"]},{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"lodash-es","purl":"pkg:npm/lodash-es","ranges":["<4.18.0"],"fixed":["4.18.0"]},{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"lodash-amd","purl":"pkg:npm/lodash-amd","ranges":["<4.18.0"],"fixed":["4.18.0"]},{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"lodash.unset","purl":"pkg:npm/lodash.unset","ranges":[">=4.0.0 <4.18.0"],"fixed":["4.18.0"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
