{"cve":"CVE-2026-29044","nvd":{"published":"2026-03-26T17:16:34.503","modified":"2026-06-17T10:29:29.907","status":"Analyzed","description":"EVerest is an EV charging software stack. Prior to version 2026.02.0, when WithdrawAuthorization is processed before the TransactionStarted event, AuthHandler determines `transaction_active=false` and only calls `withdraw_authorization_callback`. This path ultimately calls `Charger::deauthorize()`, but no actual stop (StopTransaction) occurs in the Charging state. As a result, authorization withdrawal can be defeated by timing, allowing charging to continue. Version 2026.02.0 contains a patch.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:H/A:L","score":6.5},"cwes":["CWE-863"],"references":["https://github.com/EVerest/EVerest/security/advisories/GHSA-gx37-p775-qf5v"],"products":["linuxfoundation:everest"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:28:18.033120106+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-29044","score":0.00299,"percentile":0.22606,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
