{"cve":"CVE-2026-28277","nvd":{"published":"2026-03-05T20:16:15.677","modified":"2026-06-17T10:28:25.160","status":"Analyzed","description":"LangGraph SQLite Checkpoint is an implementation of LangGraph CheckpointSaver that uses SQLite DB (both sync and async, via aiosqlite). In version 1.0.9 and prior, LangGraph checkpointers can load msgpack-encoded checkpoints that reconstruct Python objects during deserialization. If an attacker can modify checkpoint data in the backing store (for example, after a database compromise or other privileged write access to the persistence layer), they can potentially supply a crafted payload that triggers unsafe object reconstruction when the checkpoint is loaded. No known patch is public.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":7.2},"cwes":["CWE-502"],"references":["https://github.com/langchain-ai/langgraph/security/advisories/GHSA-g48c-2wqr-h844"],"products":["langchain:langgraph"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:25:53.701907451+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-28277","score":0.0549,"percentile":0.92779,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-g48c-2wqr-h844","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-g48c-2wqr-h844","summary":"LangGraph checkpoint loading has unsafe msgpack deserialization","modified":"2026-06-06T01:00:08.116125988Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"PyPI","name":"langgraph","purl":"pkg:pypi/langgraph","ranges":["<1.0.10"],"fixed":["1.0.10"]}]},{"id":"PYSEC-2026-83","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/PYSEC-2026-83","summary":"","modified":"2026-05-20T09:19:04.761672Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"PyPI","name":"langgraph","purl":"pkg:pypi/langgraph","ranges":["<1.0.10rc1"],"fixed":["1.0.10rc1"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
