In versions 1.5.0 and below, email properties (such as to, subject, html, text, and attachments) are not reset between sends when a single client instance is reused across multiple .send() calls. This can cause properties from a previous send to leak into a subsequent one, potentially delivering content or recipient addresses to unintended parties. Applications sending emails to different recipients in sequence — such as transactional flows like password resets or notifications — are affected. This issue has been fixed in version 1.5.1.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:H/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N","score":4.7},"cwes":["CWE-488"],"references":["https://github.com/lettermint/lettermint-node/blob/main/CHANGELOG.md#151-2026-02-20","https://github.com/lettermint/lettermint-node/commit/24a17acbc2429c5eb30391f9df3dc0ea7aaf4de1","https://github.com/lettermint/lettermint-node/security/advisories/GHSA-49pc-8936-wvfp"],"products":["lettermint:lettermint"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:24:17.937441719+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-27492","score":0.00186,"percentile":0.08263,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-49pc-8936-wvfp","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-49pc-8936-wvfp","summary":"Lettermint Node.js SDK leaks email properties to unintended recipients when client instance is reused","modified":"2026-02-23T22:53:00.479537Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"lettermint","purl":"pkg:npm/lettermint","ranges":["<1.5.1"],"fixed":["1.5.1"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
