In versions 2026.2.17 and below, the Discord moderation action handling (timeout, kick, ban) uses sender identity from request parameters in tool-driven flows, instead of trusted runtime sender context. In setups where Discord moderation actions are enabled and the bot has the necessary guild permissions, a non-admin user can request moderation actions by spoofing sender identity fields. This issue has been fixed in version 2026.2.18.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:L/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:L/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N","score":2.3},"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:L/A:N","score":4.3},"cwes":["CWE-862"],"references":["https://github.com/openclaw/openclaw/commit/775816035ecc6bb243843f8000c9a58ff609e32d","https://github.com/openclaw/openclaw/releases/tag/v2026.2.19","https://github.com/openclaw/openclaw/security/advisories/GHSA-wh94-p5m6-mr7j"],"products":["openclaw:openclaw"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:24:17.937441719+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-27484","score":0.0022,"percentile":0.126,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-wh94-p5m6-mr7j","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-wh94-p5m6-mr7j","summary":"OpenClaw Discord moderation authorization used untrusted sender identity in tool-driven flows","modified":"2026-02-23T23:02:26.514340Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"openclaw","purl":"pkg:npm/openclaw","ranges":["<2026.2.18"],"fixed":["2026.2.18"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
