Prior to Beta 0.9.26020, ADB Explorer is vulnerable to Insecure Deserialization leading to Remote Code Execution. The application attempts to deserialize the App.txt settings file using Newtonsoft.Json with TypeNameHandling set to Objects. This allows an attacker to supply a crafted JSON file containing a gadget chain (e.g., ObjectDataProvider) to execute arbitrary code when the application launches and subsequently saves its settings. This vulnerability is fixed in Beta 0.9.26020.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":7.8},"cwes":["CWE-502"],"references":["https://github.com/Alex4SSB/ADB-Explorer/commit/776f132cede86e1405520f2a28c78276dda5ab5a","https://github.com/Alex4SSB/ADB-Explorer/issues/294","https://github.com/Alex4SSB/ADB-Explorer/releases/tag/v0.9.26020","https://github.com/Alex4SSB/ADB-Explorer/security/advisories/GHSA-49qx-wpxj-p4mh"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:23:35.260773158+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-26208","score":0.00265,"percentile":0.18462,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
