Versions prior to 2.17 have a critical heap buffer underflow vulnerability in PJSIP's H.264 packetizer. The bug occurs when processing malformed H.264 bitstreams without NAL unit start codes, where the packetizer performs unchecked pointer arithmetic that can read from memory located before the allocated buffer. Version 2.17 contains a patch for the issue.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:L/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:L","score":5.1},"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:N/I:N/A:H","score":6.5},"cwes":["CWE-416"],"references":["https://github.com/pjsip/pjproject/commit/5aee54f09d4f91538d55279d7316591b28fded6c","https://github.com/pjsip/pjproject/security/advisories/GHSA-p965-mf7j-gwv8"],"products":["pjsip:pjsip"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:23:35.260773158+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-26203","score":0.00118,"percentile":0.01705,"date":"2026-11-01"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
