Before 11.14.1, a timing-based user enumeration vulnerability exists in the password reset functionality. When an invalid reset_url parameter is provided, the response time differs by approximately 500ms between existing and non-existing users, enabling reliable user enumeration. This vulnerability is fixed in 11.14.1.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:N/A:N","score":5.3},"cwes":["CWE-203"],"references":["https://github.com/directus/directus/commit/e69aa7a5248c6e3e822cb1ac354dee295df90b2a","https://github.com/directus/directus/pull/26485","https://github.com/directus/directus/releases/tag/v11.14.1","https://github.com/directus/directus/security/advisories/GHSA-jr94-gj3h-c8rf"],"products":["monospace:directus"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:23:35.260773158+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-26185","score":0.00393,"percentile":0.33546,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-jr94-gj3h-c8rf","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-jr94-gj3h-c8rf","summary":"Directus Vulnerable to User Enumeration via Password Reset Timing Attack","modified":"2026-02-13T17:48:48.075974Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"directus","purl":"pkg:npm/directus","ranges":["<11.14.1"],"fixed":["11.14.1"]},{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"@directus/api","purl":"pkg:npm/%40directus/api","ranges":["<32.2.0"],"fixed":["32.2.0"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
