Prior to 1.8.2 , the sign-package command in @rage-against-the-pixel/unity-cli logs sensitive credentials in plaintext when the --verbose flag is used. Command-line arguments including --email and --password are output via JSON.stringify without sanitization, exposing secrets to shell history, CI/CD logs, and log aggregation systems. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.8.2.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:L/AC:L/AT:P/PR:N/UI:N/VC:H/VI:N/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N","score":5.9},"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N","score":5.5},"cwes":["CWE-532"],"references":["https://github.com/RageAgainstThePixel/unity-cli/commit/8d4d67b23d7c5fd8f00df3f0f10bec2961c95342","https://github.com/RageAgainstThePixel/unity-cli/releases/tag/v1.8.2","https://github.com/RageAgainstThePixel/unity-cli/security/advisories/GHSA-4255-c27h-62m5"],"products":["rageagainstthepixel:unity-cli"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:22:27.261130201+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-25918","score":0.00153,"percentile":0.04405,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-4255-c27h-62m5","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-4255-c27h-62m5","summary":"unity-cli Exposes Plaintext Credentials in Debug Logs (sign-package command)","modified":"2026-02-10T03:03:31.476323Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"@rage-against-the-pixel/unity-cli","purl":"pkg:npm/%40rage-against-the-pixel/unity-cli","ranges":["<1.8.2"],"fixed":["1.8.2"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
