{"cve":"CVE-2026-2575","nvd":{"published":"2026-03-18T04:17:16.783","modified":"2026-10-06T18:16:54.180","status":"Modified","description":"A flaw was found in Keycloak. An unauthenticated remote attacker can trigger an application level Denial of Service (DoS) by sending a highly compressed SAMLRequest through the SAML Redirect Binding. The server fails to enforce size limits during DEFLATE decompression, leading to an OutOfMemoryError (OOM) and subsequent process termination. This vulnerability allows an attacker to disrupt the availability of the service.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:L","score":5.3},"cwes":["CWE-409"],"references":["https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2026:3947","https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2026:3948","https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2026:76128","https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2026:76129","https://access.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2026:76130"],"products":["redhat:build_of_keycloak"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:26:19.218427112+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-2575","score":0.00648,"percentile":0.50772,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-xv6h-r36f-3gp5","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-xv6h-r36f-3gp5","summary":"Keycloak: Denial of Service due to excessive SAMLRequest decompression","modified":"2026-10-06T18:45:07.149450142Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"Maven","name":"org.keycloak:keycloak-saml-adapter-core","purl":"pkg:maven/org.keycloak/keycloak-saml-adapter-core","ranges":["<26.5.4"],"fixed":["26.5.4"]},{"ecosystem":"Maven","name":"org.keycloak:keycloak-saml-core","purl":"pkg:maven/org.keycloak/keycloak-saml-core","ranges":["<26.5.4"],"fixed":["26.5.4"]},{"ecosystem":"Maven","name":"org.keycloak:keycloak-services","purl":"pkg:maven/org.keycloak/keycloak-services","ranges":["<26.5.4"],"fixed":["26.5.4"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
