Prior to 3.74.0, a cross-collection Insecure Direct Object Reference (IDOR) vulnerability exists in the payload-preferences internal collection. In multi-auth collection environments using Postgres or SQLite with default serial/auto-increment IDs, authenticated users from one auth collection can read and delete preferences belonging to users in different auth collections when their numeric IDs collide. This vulnerability has been patched in v3.74.0.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:L/A:N","score":5.4},"cwes":["CWE-639"],"references":["https://github.com/payloadcms/payload/security/advisories/GHSA-jq29-r496-r955"],"products":["payloadcms:payload"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:22:27.261130201+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-25574","score":0.00218,"percentile":0.12273,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-jq29-r496-r955","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-jq29-r496-r955","summary":"payload-preferences has Cross-Collection IDOR in Access Control (Multi-Auth Environments)","modified":"2026-02-07T00:52:43.263608Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"payload","purl":"pkg:npm/payload","ranges":["<3.74.0"],"fixed":["3.74.0"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
