Prior to version 4.11.7, a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in the `ErrorBoundary` component of the hono/jsx library. Under certain usage patterns, untrusted user-controlled strings may be rendered as raw HTML, allowing arbitrary script execution in the victim's browser. Version 4.11.7 patches the issue.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N","score":4.7},"cwes":["CWE-79"],"references":["https://github.com/honojs/hono/commit/2cf60046d730df9fd0aba85178f3ecfe8212d990","https://github.com/honojs/hono/security/advisories/GHSA-9r54-q6cx-xmh5"],"products":["hono:hono"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:21:16.563232421+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-24771","score":0.00374,"percentile":0.31341,"date":"2026-11-01"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-9r54-q6cx-xmh5","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-9r54-q6cx-xmh5","summary":"Hono vulnerable to XSS through ErrorBoundary component ","modified":"2026-09-10T03:50:32.846997493Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"hono","purl":"pkg:npm/hono","ranges":["<4.11.7"],"fixed":["4.11.7"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
