{"cve":"CVE-2026-2428","nvd":{"published":"2026-02-27T04:16:03.600","modified":"2026-06-17T10:30:56.333","status":"Deferred","description":"The Fluent Forms Pro Add On Pack plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Insufficient Verification of Data Authenticity in all versions up to, and including, 6.1.17. This is due to the PayPal IPN (Instant Payment Notification) verification being disabled by default (`disable_ipn_verification` defaults to `'yes'` in `PayPalSettings.php`). This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to send forged PayPal IPN notifications to the publicly accessible IPN endpoint, marking unpaid form submissions as \"paid\" and triggering post-payment automation (emails, access grants, digital product delivery).","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:H/A:N","score":7.5},"cwes":["CWE-345"],"references":["https://fluentforms.com/docs/changelog/#2-toc-title","https://www.wordfence.com/threat-intel/vulnerabilities/id/e5c62e54-da06-4b44-ba70-63065e664b0d?source=cve"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:24:17.937441719+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-2428","score":0.00158,"percentile":0.04938,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
