In versions 2.4.1-rc.0 and below, the Job API endpoints (/api/v1/jobs) lack JWT authentication middleware and RBAC authorization checks in the routing configuration. This allows any unauthenticated user with access to the Manager API to view, update and delete jobs. The issue is fixed in version 2.4.1-rc.1.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:H/VI:H/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N/E:P","score":8.9},"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":9.8},"cwes":["CWE-306"],"references":["https://github.com/dragonflyoss/dragonfly/commit/9fb9a2dfde3100f32dc7f48eabee4c2b64eac55f","https://github.com/dragonflyoss/dragonfly/security/advisories/GHSA-j8hf-cp34-g4j7"],"products":["linuxfoundation:dragonfly"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:21:16.563232421+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-24124","score":0.00782,"percentile":0.56014,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-j8hf-cp34-g4j7","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-j8hf-cp34-g4j7","summary":"Dragonfly Manager Job API Unauthenticated Access","modified":"2026-02-03T03:08:49.292492Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"Go","name":"d7y.io/dragonfly/v2","purl":"pkg:golang/d7y.io/dragonfly/v2","ranges":["<2.4.1"],"fixed":["2.4.1"]}]},{"id":"GO-2026-4356","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GO-2026-4356","summary":"Dragonfly Manager Job API Unauthenticated Access in d7y.io/dragonfly","modified":"2026-03-03T04:57:56.048712Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"Go","name":"d7y.io/dragonfly/v2","purl":"pkg:golang/d7y.io/dragonfly/v2","ranges":["<2.4.1"],"fixed":["2.4.1"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
