This is due to the tpae_create_page() AJAX handler authorizing users only with current_user_can('edit_posts') while accepting a user-controlled 'post_type' value passed directly to wp_insert_post() without post-type-specific capability checks. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Author-level access and above, to create arbitrary draft posts for restricted post types (e.g., 'page' and 'nxt_builder') via the 'post_type' parameter.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:L/A:N","score":4.3},"cwes":["CWE-863"],"references":["https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/changeset/3463156/the-plus-addons-for-elementor-page-builder","https://www.wordfence.com/threat-intel/vulnerabilities/id/4fc3e24a-8b51-4b6f-bacf-665ceb03bc05?source=cve"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:23:35.260773158+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-2386","score":0.00194,"percentile":0.09139,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
