Prior to version 2.0.0-next.180, a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the Mermaid artifact renderer allows attackers to execute arbitrary JavaScript within the application context. This XSS can be escalated to Remote Code Execution (RCE) by leveraging the exposed `electronAPI` IPC bridge, allowing attackers to run arbitrary system commands on the victim's machine. Version 2.0.0-next.180 patches the issue.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:H/PR:H/UI:R/S:C/C:H/I:L/A:L","score":6.4},"cwes":["CWE-94"],"references":["https://github.com/lobehub/lobe-chat/security/advisories/GHSA-4gpc-rhpj-9443"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:21:16.563232421+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-23733","score":0.00146,"percentile":0.03844,"date":"2026-11-01"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-4gpc-rhpj-9443","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-4gpc-rhpj-9443","summary":"Lobe Chat affected by Cross-Site Scripting(XSS) that can escalate to Remote Code Execution(RCE)","modified":"2026-02-05T13:48:45.859010Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"@lobehub/chat","purl":"pkg:npm/%40lobehub/chat","ranges":["<=1.143.2"],"fixed":[]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
