The pages are\nnever returned to the page pool, leading to OOM conditions.\n\nFix this by handling cleanup in the caller, emac_rx_packet().\nWhen emac_run_xdp() returns ICSSG_XDP_CONSUMED for XDP_DROP, the\ncaller now recycles the page back to the page pool. The zero-copy\npath, emac_rx_packet_zc() already handles cleanup correctly with\nxsk_buff_free().","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H","score":7.5},"cwes":["CWE-401"],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/719d3e71691db7c4f1658ba5a6d1472928121594","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/d16d57dedcb69c1a1257e0638f8698ce1f0ccbe5"],"products":["linux:linux_kernel"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:28:59.047572785+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-23453","score":0.00357,"percentile":0.29414,"date":"2026-11-01"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
