In both cases we do not want the emit the kernel warning\nbacktrace since nothing is wrong with the kernel and userspace will simply\nget an errno reported back. So lets simply drop the WARN_ONs.\n\n(cherry picked from commit 2c333ea579de6cc20ea7bc50e9595ef72863e65c)","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H","score":5.5},"cwes":[],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/1753f5f81ab60a553287f9ee659a6ac363adf8d7","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/7321302edca3a349ddaea689df95b986beee6c4a","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/7b7d7693a55d606d700beb9549c9f7f0e5d9c24f"],"products":["linux:linux_kernel"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:28:18.033120106+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-23338","score":0.00125,"percentile":0.02214,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
