This avoids\n already some racy accesses.\n- In addition, now we try to check the state of the capture PCM stream\n that may be stopped in this function, which was the major pain point\n leading to UAF.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:H/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":7.0},"cwes":["CWE-416","CWE-362"],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/0e6245b2424d126ac90018142d09f0707e12998b","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/5727ccf9d19ca414cb76d9b647883822e2789c2e","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/826af7fa62e347464b1b4e0ba2fe19a92438084f","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/bad15420050db1803767e58756114800cce91ea4","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/c99be0d5af02adebe9cb6f9869d20397fa9935a3"],"products":["linux:linux_kernel"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-21T03:43:09.190223697+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-23191","score":0.00133,"percentile":0.02783,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
