This aligns with the error handling logic of other\npaths in this function.\n\nCompile tested only. Issue found using a prototype static analysis tool\nand code review.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H","score":5.5},"cwes":["CWE-401"],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/5058d3f8f17202e673f90af1446252322bd0850f","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/8016dc5ee19a77678c264f8ba368b1e873fa705b","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/d753f3c3f9d7a6e6dbb4d3a97b73007d71624551","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/fdfd28e13c244d7c3345e74f339fd1b67605b694"],"products":["linux:linux_kernel"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:23:35.260773158+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-23160","score":0.00134,"percentile":0.02861,"date":"2026-11-01"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
