If request_irq() fails part-way, the rollback loop calls\nfree_irq() with dev_id set to 'oct', which does not match the original\ndev_id and may leave the irqaction registered.\n\nThis can keep IRQ handlers alive while ioq_vector is later freed during\nunwind/teardown, leading to a use-after-free or crash when an interrupt\nfires.\n\nFix the error path to free IRQs with the same ioq_vector dev_id used\nduring request_irq().","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":7.8},"cwes":["CWE-416"],"references":["https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/aa05a8371ae4a452df623f7202c72409d3c50e40","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/aa4c066229b05fc3d3c5f42693d25b1828533b6e","https://git.kernel.org/stable/c/f93fc5d12d69012788f82151bee55fce937e1432"],"products":["linux:linux_kernel"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-21T03:43:09.190223697+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-23013","score":0.00195,"percentile":0.09069,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
