In versions 5.121.0 through 5.130.5 and 6.0.0 through 6.10.3, a vulnerability in Ghost's handling of Staff Token authentication allowed certain endpoints to be accessed that were only intended to be accessible via Staff Session authentication. External systems that have been authenticated via Staff Tokens for Admin/Owner-role users would have had access to these endpoints. This issue has been patched in versions 5.130.6 and 6.11.0.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:H/A:H","score":8.1},"cwes":["CWE-863"],"references":["https://github.com/TryGhost/Ghost/commit/9513d2a35c21067127ce8192443d8919ddcefcc8","https://github.com/TryGhost/Ghost/commit/c3017f81a5387b253a7b8c1ba1959d430ee536a3","https://github.com/TryGhost/Ghost/security/advisories/GHSA-9xg7-mwmp-xmjx"],"products":["ghost:ghost"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:19:41.481987139+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-22595","score":0.00537,"percentile":0.45281,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[{"id":"GHSA-9xg7-mwmp-xmjx","url":"https://osv.dev/vulnerability/GHSA-9xg7-mwmp-xmjx","summary":"Ghost has Staff Token permission bypass","modified":"2026-02-03T03:16:07.289032Z","packages":[{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"ghost","purl":"pkg:npm/ghost","ranges":[">=6.0.0 <6.11.0"],"fixed":["6.11.0"]},{"ecosystem":"npm","name":"ghost","purl":"pkg:npm/ghost","ranges":[">=5.105.0 <5.130.6"],"fixed":["5.130.6"]}]}],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
