Prior to version 4.2, an arbitrary file upload vulnerability in the theme import functionality enables an attacker with administrative privileges to upload arbitrary files on the server's file system. The main cause of the issue is that no validation or sanitization of the file's present inside the zip archive. This leads to remote code execution on the web server. Version 4.2 patches the issue.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:H/UI:N/VC:H/VI:H/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N/E:P","score":7.3},"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":7.2},"cwes":["CWE-434"],"references":["https://github.com/gunet/openeclass/commit/3f9d267b79812a4dd708bb1302339e6a5abe67d9","https://github.com/gunet/openeclass/security/advisories/GHSA-gq72-7mwg-424r","https://github.com/gunet/openeclass/security/advisories/GHSA-rf6j-xgqp-wjxg","https://github.com/gunet/openeclass/security/advisories/GHSA-gq72-7mwg-424r","https://twelvesec.com/2026/01/16/rce-via-arbitrary-file-upload-at-open-eclass/"],"products":["openeclass:openeclass"],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:19:41.481987139+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-22241","score":0.03262,"percentile":0.8838,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
