Critically, this included access to the FTP server that hosted the application's update packages. The attacker with these credentials could upload a malicious update file, which then may have been distributed and installed on client machines as a legitimate update.\n\nThis issue affects KlinikaXP: before 5.39.01.01. and KlinikaXP Insertino before 3.1.0.1\n\nBeside removing the hardcoded credentials from the code, previously exposed credentials were also rotated preventing further attack attempts.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:H/VI:N/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N","score":8.7},"cvss_v3":null,"cwes":["CWE-798"],"references":["https://cert.pl/posts/2026/03/CVE-2026-1958","https://www.klinikaxp.pl/"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:26:19.218427112+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-1958","score":0.00259,"percentile":0.17583,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
