{"cve":"CVE-2026-15426","nvd":{"published":"2026-08-11T19:17:20.447","modified":"2026-08-12T21:00:52.257","status":"Deferred","description":"The AcyMailing – An Ultimate Newsletter Plugin and Marketing Automation Solution for WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass in all versions up to, and including, 10.11.1. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to overwrite the BCC field of the acy_notification_cms notification template, causing subsequent WordPress password-reset emails — including those targeting administrator accounts — to be silently copied to an attacker-controlled address, enabling account takeover via the captured reset link. Successful exploitation requires the site administrator to have enabled the \"Send website emails with AcyMailing\" option, which routes WordPress core notification emails through AcyMailing's templating system.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":8.8},"cwes":["CWE-269"],"references":["https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/acymailing/tags/10.10.2/back/Classes/MailClass.php#L1496","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/acymailing/tags/10.10.2/back/Controllers/Dashboard/Walkthrough.php#L222","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/acymailing/tags/10.10.2/back/Controllers/Mails/Edition.php#L344","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/acymailing/tags/10.10.2/back/Core/AcymController.php#L99","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/acymailing/tags/10.10.2/back/WpInit/Router.php#L122"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:47:54.990491175+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-15426","score":0.00659,"percentile":0.51544,"date":"2026-11-01"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
