{"cve":"CVE-2026-15212","nvd":{"published":"2026-07-23T20:17:07.460","modified":"2026-07-24T20:46:13.880","status":"Deferred","description":"The WPO365 | Login plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in versions up to, and including, 43.2. This is due to the Ajax_Service::verify_ajax_request() helper gating its wp_verify_nonce() call behind the boolean option 'enable_nonce_check', which is absent from the default 'wpo365_options' array and therefore evaluates to false via get_global_boolean_var(); as a result, the wp_ajax_wpo365_update_settings handler (Ajax_Service::update_settings) accepts POSTs from cross-origin pages and forwards the attacker-supplied 'settings' payload (base64/JSON) to Options_Service::update_options(), which merges every key/value into wpo365_options without a key allowlist. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to overwrite arbitrary plugin options — including enabling the SCIM REST endpoint (enable_scim), planting an attacker-known scim_secret_token, and setting new_usr_default_role to 'administrator' — via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","score":8.8},"cwes":["CWE-352"],"references":["https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/wpo365-login/tags/43.2/Services/Ajax_Service.php#L805","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/changeset/3610759/wpo365-login","https://www.wordfence.com/threat-intel/vulnerabilities/id/51d0ba58-614e-4284-ae0b-b0b76fc5c46d?source=cve"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-19T22:45:53.305392138+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-15212","score":0.00248,"percentile":0.16165,"date":"2026-10-31"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
