An authenticated user with low privileges can upload a malicious SVG file containing JavaScript code. When an administrator views that file, the code executes in the context of their browser. By chaining this vulnerability with a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) attack, an attacker can extract the administrator’s CSRF token and perform unauthorized actions—such as modifying credentials—thereby gaining full control of the administrative account.","cvss_v4":{"vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:A/VC:N/VI:N/VA:N/SC:H/SI:H/SA:H","score":6.3},"cvss_v3":null,"cwes":["CWE-79"],"references":["https://www.incibe.es/en/incibe-cert/notices/aviso/stored-cross-site-scripting-xss-tastyigniter-media-manager"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-24T16:53:27.712498749+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-14856","score":0.0039,"percentile":0.3281,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
