The signing nonce and the private key are drawn from makerandom. Because the high bit is always set, the result is not uniform: its top bit is fixed, producing insecure values.\"\n\nAn attacker who collects a modest number of signatures under an affected key, together with the public key, can recover the private key with a lattice attack.\n\nKeys used to sign with an affected version should be considered compromised and new keys should be generated.","cvss_v4":null,"cvss_v3":{"version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N","score":7.5},"cwes":["CWE-330"],"references":["https://metacpan.org/release/TIMLEGGE/Crypt-DSA-1.21/source/lib/Crypt/DSA/Util.pm#L56","https://metacpan.org/release/TIMLEGGE/Crypt-DSA-1.22/changes","https://metacpan.org/release/TIMLEGGE/Crypt-DSA-1.22/diff/TIMLEGGE/Crypt-DSA-1.21#lib/Crypt/DSA/Util.pm","http://www.openwall.com/lists/oss-security/2026/07/05/1"],"products":[],"source":"nvd","synced_at":"2026-10-25T17:50:06.907763985+00:00"},"epss":{"cve":"CVE-2026-14570","score":0.00508,"percentile":0.43124,"date":"2026-10-25"},"kev":null,"osv":[],"attribution":["This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.","EPSS scores: FIRST Exploit Prediction Scoring System, https://www.first.org/epss","Known exploited vulnerabilities: CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, https://www.cisa.gov/known-exploited-vulnerabilities-catalog","Package advisories: OSV (https://osv.dev), from the GitHub Advisory Database, PyPA, Go, RustSec and other ecosystem databases, under CC-BY 4.0 or CC0","CVE records: the CVE Program's CVE List (https://www.cve.org), under its terms of use (https://www.cve.org/Legal/TermsOfUse).
